George Goodroe Photography

George Goodroe, is a Photographic Artist who has had a life long interest in Photography. Right out of school, he shot professionally for School Pictures, Inc. and quickly established his “eye for the scene”.

George has lived in St. Pete, nearly his entire life and has a real passion for Large Format Photography. He uses a 4x5 View Camera. While being much more bulky and persnickety compared to modern cameras, the 4x5 negative yields many times more picture resolution. This larger negative allows much larger picture sizes, while maintaining amazing clarity.
